The current logo has the MessageLabs name now appearing as part of a new Symantec Hosted Services brand.
This updated branding reflects input we received from many clients through a series of focus groups around the world and we hope will better represent our broadening hosted services portfolio and the importance Symantec places on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
While the logo has changed, the people and organisation working to bring you MessageLabs services have not.
Over the last year, by keeping our SaaS organisation as a standalone business unit, but also able to leverage wider Symantec resources, we have been able to expand into new geographies, grow our client base, meet our product roadmap commitments,
and surpass all of our performance service level agreements to our clients. I am sure many of you will recognize this is quite a departure from the track record of many businesses post-acquisition.
We are committed to building on our legacy of hosted services innovation, partner and customer support and outstanding performance.
We greatly appreciate your business and look forward to establishing an even greater partnership moving forward.
Tips for Successful Marketing Campaigns
We have put together a list of tips and considerations to help ensure you get the best possible results from your
MessageLabs marketing campaigns:
- Target list must contain up to date and accurate contact information;
- Ensure contacts are IT decision makers;
- Brief your sales team to follow up contacts touched by a marketing campaign and aim to tee up meetings with those contacts;
- Think about what solution you are promoting i.e. Web Security, Email AV & AS, URL Filtering, Instant Messaging Service & IMSS,
Email Archiving Service, Image Control & Content Control, Policy Based Encryption & Boundary Encryption;
- Have you set an objective for the outcome of the campaign? E.g. A specified number of opps or sales meetings resulting from the campaign & sales follow up;
- Get help from your MessageLabs Sales Account Manager to identify opportunities and close deals.
